Happy April!

Well, as I'm sure most of you saw by the photos, Jackson's visit was a whirlwind and a GREAT time. It was fun and refreshing to be able to spend so much time with him. I'm so proud of what an amazing man he's turning out to be. I am not bragging, but any girl who ends up with that boy, is going be totally lucky.

In other news, I had to send out a rebuttal on Myspace this afternoon, letting people know that I am NOT pregnant. I've had family members and friends calling me, and let me just say... If I was pregnant, do you really think you'd be finding out through the comment section of my Myspace page? Come on! You know me... I'll design an amazing announcement, and send it to everyone. :)

I am all packed and ready to go to Viva Las Vegas, even though the trip is still 8 days away. I am happy to say that all of my outfits and MANY shoes fit easily into my suitcase, and only came to 40.5 lbs. Hooray! I am so EXCITED about the trip to VLV and getting to spend some time bonding with my girls, especially my bestie Gillian.

After I return from Vegas, we are jetting off to OKC to scope out real estate, meet with the bank, and try to round up some new health insurance. Then, 2.5 weeks later, we are flying Paris! I am so excited about finally going to Europe. I'm rounding up all my sleekest and most stylish dresses and comfortable (yet classy) shoes so that I can enjoy Paris without looking too much like a tourist. I've almost finished my copy of Rick Steve's Paris (shout out to Mandy! Thanks so much for that book!) and I'm practicing my French phrases every night before I go to bed. Je suis prêt à connaître tout que Paris doit offrir!

I am really busy trying to catch up on as much work as I can before Vegas, so pardon me if I seem at all absent. The hectic spring has begun and I'm thrilled. Oh, one last thing... I've decided to axe the "Party Like It's 1929" party for my birthday. (It was proving to be too costly and time consuming to plan...) Gillian wisely suggested that I throw a small party when we get back from France, with a French theme of course, to show off our photos and share delicious wine & cheese with our friends. Stay tuned for the invite.

That's all for now... Bonne nuit mes amis!
