Cheating
First things first! Last nights dinner was totally awesome. These girls are totally fun and genuine folks. I felt a little nervous at first, the nerd in me was SURE that they would all think I was a giant dork, but they didn't kick me out of the dinner, so I guess I did okay. :) There are photos up here at Imaginary Binky. So a big shout out to Greebes, Winks, Binks, and The Imposer for a great time and for not...um, kicking me out for talking too much. :)
So now on to the cheating bit. It's cheating for two reasons. First of all because I stole the idea from The Imposer, and secondly because it's based on a far fetched premise, that being - me cheating on Tim with a celebrity. Probably not ever going to happen, but if it did, it would be with the following people. The Imposer limited her list to 10, which is far and above the original "Friends" list of 5, but with 10 I was able to throw in a few of my old man crushes, little boy crushes, and my one girl crush. On to the list!
10 - DANNY MASTERSON - "Steven Hyde"
I've probably watched way to much That 70's Show for my own good, and truth be told I don't actually want to make out with Danny Masterson. I want to make out with his paranoid, aviator wearin', midnight tokin' alter-ego Steven Hyde. On the couch in Forman's basement.
9 - JON CRYER - "Duckie"
I can't help it, I have a weakness for nerd boys. I'm sorry but the scene in Pretty In Pink where he runs around the record shop singing and dancing to "Try A Little Tenderness" still makes me tingle.
8 - MADONNA
I don't care how old she is, or what diseases she may have caught from Dennis Rodman. If Madonna wanted to make out with me, I would TOTALLY do it. I'm not sure if I'm attracted to her, or if I just want to BE her (without the aforementioned whoriness) but she is SO COOL and will always be my ultimate girl crush. There are a couple others, but I really feel like that is a WHOLE other list. :)
7 - JOSEPH FIENNES - "Will Shakespeare"
Yes, once again, I'm really in love with a specific character, but he was SO sexy in Shakespeare In Love. I've watched that movie countless times and there is something SO hot about the scruffy frenetic creativity of his character. Well that and he quotes poetry while inside Viola and that is very, very, very, STEAMY.
6 - GARY OLDMAN
There is something about that twitchy dark energy that he puts forth in all his characters that is super appealing to me. Plus, he walks around like he's got something inside him that makes him cooler than everyone else, and I'm dying to know what it is!
5 - CHRISTIAN BALE
As Jack Kelly in the Newsies (I STILL love that movie!) and Patrick Bateman in America Psycho, he showed this tremendous range...He can sing AND run naked with a chainsaw. HOT! The Batman thing has really been the icing on the cake. I've loved ALL the Batman movies. Even the campy ones. Christian Bale in black rubber and a cape? That would be one hell of a Saturday night.
4 - VIGGO MORTENESEN - "Aragorn"
I've loved him in other movies, but as Aragorn he was so perfect. His intense battle scenes, and that long haired/stubbly reluctant hero with a heart of gold schtick, TOTALLY did me in. Fun Fact: He went on a date with Madonna in the 90's, but it didn't go well. Apparently all she did was talk about herself. :)
3 - JOAQUIN PHOENIX
He has been in some tremendous movies, and I love how he always plays his characters softly. Even in Walk The Line, he really plays these characters like he knows their whole history and IS in a way inhabiting that person. Intensity and talent are HOT. Plus, when he did the whole Johnny Cash thing with the greaser hair and deep voice, I almost fell out of my chair. I'm a sucker for a guitar man.
2 - JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS
He's pretty. I don't care what movie it is. I really just want to stare at him and listen to that wicked accent. Look at that mouth will you?
1 - JOHNNY DEPP
My boy. He's been my number one crush my whole life. To me, a male star doesn't get anymore perfect. I've seen every movie he's ever been in. I sort of hate his wife. I'm not a stalker, but he makes me think I could be. You know he lives in PARIS right? That's not WHY I'm going, but I do hope I run into him. :)
HONORABLE MENTION - TOM SELLECK
Um...Words can explain. I've loved him as Magnum P.I., I've loved him as a Sackett Brother, and I loved him on Friends. Nobody can pull off the porn star 'stache like Tom. He's old and he's hot and I don't care that it makes me sound weird. :)

Echo - I think it's been our saving grace that we didn't like the same type of boys. Can you imagine? It's funny tho, the guys we ended up with are both super smart, skinny, dark-haired boys.

I would have to add to your list Edward Norton. There is something super sexy about him. :D I LOVE Gary Oldman....LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Oh, and Sam Elliott. Even though he's pretty damn old now. Great post!!

I can agree with nearly every one of those. Maybe not John Cryer...Jaoquin could totally be on my list any day of the week. Why not that day I do not know...
