A big change...

We are moving at the end of July. We've decided to buy a home in Oklahoma City, near Tim's family. This may seem like it's coming out of left field, but it really isn't. It's been on our minds for a while that we'd like to start a family, and trying to find a decent house in Denver, with room for two home offices and a baby, has been a nightmare. There just isn't anything available in our price range, that isn't out in the suburbs.

So, we've decided to buy a home in a cool older district close to downtown in OKC. We're both really excited about the transition, and since our work has been going so well, it just seems like the right time.

We'll miss all our wonderful friends here in Denver, and we look forward to sharing this last Spring and Summer with all of you. The great thing about moving to somewhere not too far away, is that we're always just a cheap SW flight away from a long weekend visit. We still have business clients here and I'm sure we'll be back relatively frequently. The move is also not permanent. We're planning on living there for a few years, and then we may move back to Colorado, or perhaps California.

Anyway, that's our big news... discuss! :)

Exciting news!! It can be scary, but it's always exciting to move to a new place... Especially where the overall cost of living is more reasonable.

Can't wait to see new pictures this summer... But please at least once eat at Las Margaritas for me - I wasn't able to make it when I was out there in February. :)

I hope you and Tim are happy in OKC. And I hope it means you'll be able to come to Oregon for Christmas so we can meet up then and maybe you guys will be able to come out to NYC sometime.

Oh my gosh! Wow. I'm practically at a loss for words. You guys have obviously spent a lot of time thinking about this and I'm sure everything will be great in OKC. I know you will be missed in Denver. . .

Wow! You will be a huge loss to Denver, and will be missed.

The good news is, Oklahoma City will have a huge and much needed boost in fashion sense. :-)

Heather - I forgot to tell you! I went to Las Margs, but it's hard because I can't really eat anything there. Those jerks put lard in their refried beans AND ham in their black beans. *grumble* So, I'm a fan of Mezcal (across from the Bluebird Theater) because they have Soyrizo quesadillas. Mmmmmmm....

Echo - Definitely... We may have to spend Christmas in OKC, but what about NYE in Oregon? Will you guys be down at your mom's house then?

Mandelion - I know it seems sudden, and I'm struggling with how much I'll miss our Gillie...But I know this will be a great adventure for us.

Sinisterbrain - yeah, I have a feeling I might be one of the few vegetarians in that Red state too. ;)

Mary - Thanks! I'm glad we won't have to wait too much longer for the baby thing...
