And there's more where that came from...
So, I have some news. I wasn't sure I wanted to blog about it, just in case it doesn't work out, but then I thought, meh... who cares?I am going to be on television! The History Channel is filming an episode for their show Modern Marvels called "Christmas Tech" and they are coming to Evergreen to interview us about advancements in the Holiday industry. My bosses have agreed that I will be the interviewee, and I'm really not sure how this is all going to go down.
There is a good possibility that I will get nervous, throw up on the camera man, and then my segment will be cut. Or there is always a chance they will think we're boring and cut us anyway. You just never know, but on the off chance that they DO put our bit on the show...I'll make sure to post when it is coming on.
And in other news, I need a new pair of t-strap suede wedges for the interview. You may ask, (as Tim has...) don't you already own a pair of shoes that will work just as well? The answer is yes...but with the right pair of shoes, the extra 10 lbs might not matter so much. Which is good, because there is no way I'm losing that before next Wednesday.

p.s. The cats managed to wake me up at 6 this morning, but I was planning on getting up anyway, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. I'm learning to be more flexible people.... this is HUGE.

a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes. also, wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in will help you nail the interview and break into the movie business:)
that is so true...BTW, when shoe shopping today... found NOTHING! Why is it that when you're broke you see a million things you want and when you have money, you can't find the one thing you need????
It shows that your company has a lot of confidence in you. Of course they recognize that your sparkling personality will be a big hit.
I am looking for a similar (perhaps identical) Shoe Filing System. I'm afraid it will have to be moved out of my closet, because that simply isn't working out. As a result of being evicted into the open, the cubbies must be neat and attractive, as yours are. May I ask where you procured them?
Uh-oh, this is going to force me to count my shoes. I don't know if I'm ready for this. Flip-flops don't count, right? Nor does anything that could qualify as a "sneaker"? Because those are utilitarian. :)
I procured them at target, for a very reasonable price!
And flip-flops can count, but if they are not too bulky, you can fit almost 4 pairs in one little cubby. I keep my sneakers in a big jumbled pile under my hanging clothes. It really is not a very tidy solution, but I just have so many! I need to have another yard sale before it gets cold again and sell some of these shoes i rarely wear...
