My thoughts...
DMB – Dave Matthews Band is going to play another night at Red Rocks to raise money for Katrina Relief efforts! This is the BEST NEWS! I was so sad I missed out on that show and I really really wanted to go. You never know when you might not get the chance again. I mean last time they were in town, they played the Pepsi Center. (blech!) I hate stadiums and Red Rocks is the best venue in the world…
NYC – We are going to buy our tickets for New York next week. I picked up the latest Frommer’s Guide to New York City last night. I can’t believe how much stuff there is to do there. We are only going to have four days so we are going to have to squeeze a lot of excitement in to a short amount of time, but it will be worth it. Plus, we get to see Echo and Utku again. It’s going to be so much fun.
AF – The word is they might be trying to send me TDY to Colorado Springs for a month before I get out. Can you believe it? I swear, there should be an award for the type of idiocy that permeates my office.
Halloween – I am getting all geared up for my all time most favorite holiday. I’ll be putting up a flyer soon for all you guys that live in the local area. It’s going to be so much fun… My costume kicks ass so far… I’m working on my papier mache skills so I can make a few Zombies and mummies for our house/haunted castle. OOOOHHHH! I love the fall. It really is my favorite season.
The Da Vinci Code – I tore through that book in one sitting last night. I couldn’t put it down. It’s not quite as good as Angels & Demons, but that Dan Brown writes a goooooood novel. I can’t wait until the movie comes out.
Cognac - It's not as strong as I thought. Well the taste I mean. I had a wonderful Pear cognac at Bistro Vendome. It was smooth and delicious. However, it got me very drunk and gave me the hiccups. I'm not sure if that's normal... :P

i`ve read superb reviews on The Da Vinci Code. i think i will buy a copy this weekend!
