Boy, I'm so sleeeepy this morning. I stayed up a little too late watching t.v. last night. Not any show in particular,I spent an hour just flipping around. I got to chat with Daniel a bit about the wonder that is Ali G. If you don't know who he is, I suggest you rent the DVD post haste. Speaking of wonders, I have been rediscovering some CD's I had laying around.
I've been rocking out to Robbie McDonald's band Tripadagio. I'm not sure what happened to them, but these songs are so awesome. If you can find it, you should pick up "When Nice People Say Nasty Things", you won't regret it. I've also been listening to Gann Matthews and local musician who I met at the Mercury Cafe. He actually wanted me to do his website, but I was too busy to take it on. Anyway, he is really wonderful, very unique and interesting. Check out his album, The Thin Line. Speaking of interesting and unique, my friend Dane Strom has recently wrapped up production on his first full length album, No Soap Radio. It is going to be available soon, so make sure to check it out. Also, for the Sheila Kay Miller fans, she's got a show coming up this Saturday, be there!
