Okey dokey...

Here I am again...Back in the land of the blogging. I haven't been able to do this in so long, I think I may have forgotten. Or not.....

So today was busy for me. I'm on like 5 million committees for various things and everyone thinks that my only responsibility is to them, go figure. I went to a meeting for my UAC today. UAC stands for "Unit Advisory Council" but really it's just a fancy way of saying, "Squadron Bitches". We are held responsible if the Squadron Holiday Party isn't cool or the picnic isn't cool, but no one wants to help us and no one participates. So it's just a few of us hard-core people. I don't really know why the other people are there. I 'm there because I'm a control freak and I like to throw parties. But I suspect everyone else is there just to get out of their offices. Not that I blame them...

The air force would be much better off if they made work environments a priority. All those guys who work behind the fence in a building with no windows and sad little cubicles.... I feel so sorry for them. I am one of the lucky few. I have a window. A huge floor to ceiling window. Our squadron commander doesn't even have a window... heh heh...

What good is a window you ask? Well , I'll tell you... I can stare out of it. And you might not think that is a big deal, but sometimes when I get stressed out, I can look out and see this large barren field right next to my building and sometimes there will be contracters out there mowing the grass in this barren field. And then I think...Hey my job's not so bad. At least I don't have to mow stuff.
