Duck, duck, chicken.... I'd never eaten duck until last night. It was mighty tasty, not at all like I expected. But then again, it may have been the company and not the duck that was tasty. I had one of the best dates ever last night. Like i said before , no low by blows, but suffice it to say, I woke up this morning and I couldn't stop smiling. It's exciting to connect with someone and feel like they like you just as much as you like them. And I didn't even mind about the parking ticket. ;) I discovered yesterday that my closet is full of 8,000 black shirts and 8,000 pairs of jeans. I wear the same thing every day. I try to branch out inot color, but it never works...I don't feel comforatble in red, or purple, or yellow. My theory is that it's easier to look classy if you don't have to worry about matching. Plus, i have a really loud personality, i'm afraid if i wore color or polka dots or whatever, it might just be too much for people. ;)

I am finally back from Maryland...and one year older I might add. Birthdays are a strange thing to me anymore...I feel more conflicted about my age now than at any other point in my life. Partly because I like getting older, I like that people take me more seriously now, but I'm having a hard time leaving behind my youth.... Oh well....C'est la vie. Anyway, lots of exciting stuff has been going on personally and professionally, but I've decided to refrain from letting this journal become a blow by blow of my sex life. I have lots of other things I'd rather talk about, although, I can't seem to think of any of them right now. :) Um...ok, random sidebar....sometimes when I'm wandering around the web, I come across various pages that interest, most of the time I check them out and move on, but once in a while, I read things that I know aren't meant to have any significance to me as a wandering net stranger, and this website is one of those. www.shawnwall.com It's this one kid's personal website, but I started reading his weblog and it kinda sucked me in....he talks about his family and his friends and the dinners he cooks for people....kinda random stuff, but I check back pretty often just to see what he's been up to. It's weird I know....but I'm a weird girl, what can I say. :)
